Last Chance

An experiment with 2D pixel art - Originally created for the Gentle Ghost Jam in October. I uploaded the mini world created for the game.

CURRENT STATUS OF GAME - I just want to let you know that the game's story hasn't been finished. This release is to let you explore the environment and get a feel for the world. 

STORY - When you come to, you realize you are a ghost. But you are not sure why. You must discover why while also helping Death in his mission to collect the souls of the ghosts who can not leave this town. 

Uncover the circumstances that lead to your untimely demise and make a final decision that will effect whether you stay a ghost or not. 

CURRENT MECHANICS - 

A,S,D,F OR Arrow keys - move 

E - Examine objects 

P - Open Pause menu

V1.0 :

• A working 2D pixel environment where the player can explore. Every piece of the environment was made by myself. 
• Main menu, pause menu interfaces
• Some game music (more to be added in later versions)

Features That I didn't have enough time to include:

• Complete 2D pixel art for house interiors.
• Interaction with 2D objects (the mechanics for the this are already complete. I just need to create the objects in the world.)
• Create NPCs, both ghost and living NPCs.
• Implement stories and dialogue for each NPC.
• Slow character movement when moving at angles.
• Create possession ability for main character. Since the character is a ghost she can not pick up objects. She must possess living NPCs to interact with them. 
• Mechanics for different objects
• Improve game music and add game music for interiors. 
• Sound effects
• Credits scene
